Formula Wealth New Client Process

Prospect Meeting

First interaction is a free Zoom call scheduled by clicking here. In this initial discussion, I do my best to learn about the needs, concerns, and goals for you and your family. I share my process, my investment philosophy, we review the fees, and I send a follow up email. I DON'T ASK YOU TO SIGN OR COMMIT TO ANYTHING IN THE MEETING.

For families who choose to engage further, I'll answers any other questions you may have about working together, then I send over the advisory agreement. Once e-signed, you're officially on the team! Welcome!

Preparing for the First Client Meeting

Before our first client meeting, I send over a request list asking for many details, statements, and documents, and I invite you to a secure vault for uploading sensitive information. I encourage you to upload items as you gather them - no need for you to have homework due at midnight. I'll review the items as they come in. Once I've reviewed enough that I think I can provide you with a valuable first client meeting, we get it scheduled!

First Client Meeting

We catch up on any changes since we last spoke, I confirm my understanding of the information you've provided, and we further discuss your hopes and goals. I'll provide a few suggestions over various topics, but will likely want to take a deeper dive after learning new information in this meeting before advising on too much. We'll begin the process of moving investments over so that I can manage them for you as part of a long-term coordinated strategy.

We meet every 4-6 weeks for the first few months to make sure all time sensitive projects are appropriately managed, and then we will meet at a minimum of 2-3 times a year going forward. I encourage clients to not wait until our next scheduled meeting to share important concerns or updates with me - go ahead and call me right then! Let me help you now while it's top of mind, all for no extra cost - that's the beauty of the flat fee.
